Team Membership

O3 membership cards are in production and will soon be in your hands, so you can enjoy the perks that come along with having this card. The perks include: $1.00 off all items at Stylz, one free drink or snack at Grubbage when you buy a pizza, burger, or hot dog; free chicken sandwich at either Chick-fil-a in Naples when you buy a medium fry and drink, 10% off your entire purchase at Family Christian Store, and discounts on designated youth events.

The things is, membership cards are not just for anyone, but anyone can get one. All you need to do is play on a team. When we say play on a team, we mean serving in an area of ministry at O

Then, you will be well on your way to enjoying your membership perks, as well as, making O3 what it should be and that is teen-driven.

Truth Project: Am I Alone?

At our next tour we will look at relationship again, but in the context of God and man. Does God want anything to do with man? Is man just another one of God's creations that He does not really care about? Does the God of the universe dwell in you? Does He desire you to know Him in the most intimate way? These and other questions will be answered at the Truth Project this Sunday night (November 18). Be at the church at 5:30 p.m. Don't miss it!

We all have questions, so what's yours?

The Truth Project Tour 6: History

Be at the church at 5:30 p.m. for snacks and drinks this Sunday night.

Join a Team

Hey you, yeah you! Stop looking at everyone else; I'm talking directly to you! Are you playing for a team yet? If you are, leave a comment and tell which team you play for. If you're not on a team, why not? We need you! Playing on a team is another way for saying "serving on a ministry". We need your help and involvement if O3 is going to the place your peers love to hang out and hear about God. There are many teams to play on like:

O3P
Ambushers
M.I.B.
In the O
Altar
Impersonate
The Underground
Combustion
Xpressions
Stylz
The Grubbage

Now remember, if you choose a team, you are also saying you will be an example for your peers to follow. There will be certain expectations of all team members, but it is nothing more than the life as Christians we should be living anyways. However, we do take these expectations seriously. We want your peers to have good examples of real Christians, not people that are playing church. Playing Christian is out; being real is in!

So, have you decided on a team to play for. Well, the next step is to visit In the O to pick up an application. When the application is returned, you will be introduced to the Team Captain who will get you on the practice field. All players are on first string; there are no bench warmers. There's no water boys. Everyone who wants to play plays.

See ya in the game!

Fields of Faith

What do you say we get your friends at school saved? Fields of Faith is a perfect non-threatening opportunity to do just that. Maybe your peers would not step foot in a church or even come to a church event. They may come to the Naples High football field though. In fact, we can pray that very thing to take place. This is also an opportunity for you to stand in the gap and pray for your school. That night there will be loud music, a human video, special music, and a salvation message for the lost. Not to mention, free food and drinks. Fields of Faith takes place on Tuesday night, October 9 at the Naples High School football field. Bring all the unsaved you can pile in your parent's vehicle!

The Truth Project

The Truth Project experience has begun and what a turn out we had for the first tour. The count was about 90 teenagers. That is awesome! Many of you along with your peers at school are searching for the truth. You will get those answers and in turn be able to tell your friends what the truth really is. Share with us what caught your eye or got your attention in the first tour.

Are you ready for your next tour? It begins this Sunday at 6:00 p.m. in Room 201. We will look at philosophy and ethics. What about that mysterious black box? Don't miss it and be early!

Wii Boxing Tournament

It's time to kick off the O3 boxing tournament, Nintendo Wii style. Who will receive the Wii Boxing Champion of O3 belt? Will you be the first champion? Are you ready to box? Are you ready to knock someone's block off? Will we have a guy or girl champion? Will the champion be quick or just a powerhouse? Who are the fighters to join the tournament? Will you be one? This tournament is not for the weak, feeble, and fearful. Sign up at O3 to get your opportunity to be the Wii Boxing Champion of O3. Just think of the bragging rights you will have over all your peers you beat up on. This could be big, better yet, it could be huge. Fights will be announced at O3 a week in advance. Sign up and we'll see you in the ring!

First Week of School

Ok, so be totally honest, how was the first week of school for you? What about the first week did you like the most and what did you like the least? Was the first day and week what you expected it to be? How was school lunch? Did you meet new friends? Did you enjoy the school bus ride? Share your thoughts!

Back to School Event

If you miss the Back to School Block Party, you are just plain boring. The fun takes place at New Hope Ministries this Saturday (August 18) from 4:00-10:oopm. This party promises to be bigger than any block party we've done. Some cool stuff include a 53' slip n slide (22' drop and 31' of sliding) and you can pick someone to race against, Mobile Laser Tag with 4 on 4 competition, and Inflatable Air Bots where you go up against the opponent of your choice and battle it out in the arena. Regular sports activities like basketball, volleyball, and slaughter ball also included. Not to mention playing some Nintendo Wii. You do not want to miss it! Food and refreshments as well and the best part of it all is that all of it is absolutely FREE! All you got to do is show up. This Back to School Block Party is open to the community, so invite your other middle and high school friends. Come have fun one more day before going back to school. For more information call us at 348-0122 or send us an email.

What is your favorite verse in the Bible?

Ok, we know the whole Bible is good and full of great promises, knowledge, and wisdom; even in the "begats", but we would like to know what is your favorite Scripture verse of all if you could only choose one. Picture it this way, if you were dragged out of your home and placed in prison for being a Christian, what one verse would you have with you? Let us know...

Operation Shoebox

We are collecting toys, school supplies, toiletries, etc. for children/teenagers in Guatemala and you can be a part of it. This will be an awesome blessing for the children/teenagers this Christmas holiday. Suggestions include:
Action Figures
Baby Toys, Clothes, etc.
Brush & Comb Sets
Candy (Hard)
Cars, Trucks, and Airplanes
Coloring Books & Crayons
Legos
Marbles
Teddy Bears & Dolls
Teenage Items
Purses & Wallets
Yo-yo's
Watches
Winter Hats & Gloves

You can drop off these unwrapped gifts in any of the boxes around the church marked "Operation Shoebox". Remember, gifts must be able to fit in a shoe box. Financial donations can be made out to New Hope Ministries with "ShoeBox" written in the memo line. Every child/teenager that receives a shoe box will also hear the Gospel and have the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. We have an opportunity to make a temporal and eternal impact on their lives. Thank you for your contribution!

Return From Guatemala

The mission trip to Guatemala was sooo successful! In 4 days the drama was performed in 20 schools. There was an evening service each night. Approximately, 1300 (800 children/teenagers and 500 adults) souls were snatched from the kingdom of darkness and brought into the Kingdom of Light. A few hundred rededicated their lives to the Lord and many received healing. God used the teenagers in tremendous ways that many of them did not think they could be used.

Let's allow the same power of God that moved in Guatemala to move in our community in Naples. Look for opportunity for the Lord to use YOU in an awesome way.
