Ice skating

Back by popular demand; we are going ice skating again. The date is Saturday, October 20 at Germain Arena. The cost is $7 which includes skate rental, one slice of pizza, and a soda. We will be taking the church van, but the space is limited. We are asking those who have a car to drive in order to leave space on the church van for those who do not drive. Skating begins at 8:30 p.m. If you need to ride the church van, you must sign up at In the O and have the necessary forms signed.

Truth Project: Who is Man?

We had almost 100 teenagers last Sunday night. This tells us that young people are searching for the truth. Tour 3 is this Sunday. Who is man? What is evil? Where did evil come from? These are just some of the questions that will be answered. Be at the church at 5:15 p.m. for chips, drinks, and Nintendo Wii play. The Truth Project begins at 6:00 p.m. Don't miss it! Play the clip below to see what's to come.

Join a Team

Hey you, yeah you! Stop looking at everyone else; I'm talking directly to you! Are you playing for a team yet? If you are, leave a comment and tell which team you play for. If you're not on a team, why not? We need you! Playing on a team is another way for saying "serving on a ministry". We need your help and involvement if O3 is going to the place your peers love to hang out and hear about God. There are many teams to play on like:

O3P
Ambushers
M.I.B.
In the O
Altar
Impersonate
The Underground
Combustion
Xpressions
Stylz
The Grubbage

Now remember, if you choose a team, you are also saying you will be an example for your peers to follow. There will be certain expectations of all team members, but it is nothing more than the life as Christians we should be living anyways. However, we do take these expectations seriously. We want your peers to have good examples of real Christians, not people that are playing church. Playing Christian is out; being real is in!

So, have you decided on a team to play for. Well, the next step is to visit In the O to pick up an application. When the application is returned, you will be introduced to the Team Captain who will get you on the practice field. All players are on first string; there are no bench warmers. There's no water boys. Everyone who wants to play plays.

See ya in the game!

Fields of Faith

What do you say we get your friends at school saved? Fields of Faith is a perfect non-threatening opportunity to do just that. Maybe your peers would not step foot in a church or even come to a church event. They may come to the Naples High football field though. In fact, we can pray that very thing to take place. This is also an opportunity for you to stand in the gap and pray for your school. That night there will be loud music, a human video, special music, and a salvation message for the lost. Not to mention, free food and drinks. Fields of Faith takes place on Tuesday night, October 9 at the Naples High School football field. Bring all the unsaved you can pile in your parent's vehicle!

The Truth Project

The Truth Project experience has begun and what a turn out we had for the first tour. The count was about 90 teenagers. That is awesome! Many of you along with your peers at school are searching for the truth. You will get those answers and in turn be able to tell your friends what the truth really is. Share with us what caught your eye or got your attention in the first tour.

Are you ready for your next tour? It begins this Sunday at 6:00 p.m. in Room 201. We will look at philosophy and ethics. What about that mysterious black box? Don't miss it and be early!
