What is your favorite verse in the Bible?
Ok, we know the whole Bible is good and full of great promises, knowledge, and wisdom; even in the "begats", but we would like to know what is your favorite Scripture verse of all if you could only choose one. Picture it this way, if you were dragged out of your home and placed in prison for being a Christian, what one verse would you have with you? Let us know...

Yes, I remember when Larry King asked Paris Hilton what her fav verse was, she didn't know at the time. I'm sure she has one now.
Mine is Revelations 17:14:
"These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him [are] called, and chosen, and faithful." KJV
John 3:16, For god so loved the world that he gave his only son for that whoever believed in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
My favorite verse is "Trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways acknowledge him and He will make your path straight." Proverbs 3:5-6.
I can always trust the lord for everthing and this verse reminds me that
There are way too many verses that I like. So I dont really have a "Favorite" but one of the ones I find myself tring to apply to my life right now is:
"Be faithful even to the point of death and I will give you the crown of life."
Revelation 2:10
I've done the whole ignoring God thing in the past, but Im determined not to anymore!
Genesis 1:5 And god called the light day,and the darkeness he called night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. i love that verse baecuse it tells you about how god created the evening before morning.
I think, for me, one of the best books to read in the Bible is the Book of James. Not only is that the name of my wonderful, handsome, boyfriend but, anyway, in those 5 chapters, James talks about the character you need in order to know how to be right with God and how to walk your Christian walk. Plus other really useful things that will be good to read. You'll just have to read it to find out!!! ;)
